The race.
The Blacksburg Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning in Blacksburg, VA, featuring a 5K course open to walkers and runners of all ability levels. Presented by Kroger and organized by VA Momentum, the event includes professionally timed racing with race bibs and chip timing devices distributed at packet pickup. A separate Kids Dash event runs before the main 5K start. Participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving-themed running attire.
