Born to Run 5k 2026

The race.

The Born to Run 5K takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Confluence Brewing Company in Des Moines, Iowa. The event features a 5K race on a trail loop course, with a 1-mile fun run also starting at 9:00 a.m. Packet pickup is available Friday, November 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Pulse Life Advocates, or on race day from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. at Confluence Brewing Company. All proceeds benefit Mary's Helping Hands, which provides basic necessities to families with children under two years old. Finishers receive branded socks and local coupons. The event is chip-timed with live online results and finish line video, concluding at 11:00 a.m.
