The Boys and Girls Clubs of Edinburg Rio Grande Valley hosts a 5K run on August 15, 2026, at Edinburg Municipal Park, with a Fun Run beginning at 7:30 a.m. and the competitive 5K starting at 8:00 a.m. The 5K includes finisher medals, t-shirts, and age group awards across male and female categories for ages 14 and under through 60 and over. Packet pickup is available August 12–13 at 702 Cullen Street and on race day starting at 7:00 a.m. at the park located at 714 S. Raul Longoria Road. Registration closes August 8, 2026, with a shirt deadline of July 23, 2026. Proceeds support youth and teen programs in Edinburg and surrounding communities.
