The race.
The Buffalo Subaru 4 Mile Chase, held Friday, July 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in Buffalo's Elmwood Village, is a 4-mile road race serving as the USATF Niagara Association Open and Masters Championship. Packet pickup occurs the same day from 2:30 p.m. until race time at Bidwell Parkway and Elmwood Avenue. The first 750 entrants receive t-shirts, and the race features a couples division, free kids races in three age groups, live music, complimentary food and refreshments, and extensive awards. Proceeds benefit the ECMC Foundation. Registration costs $40 USD and accepts cash, check, and credit cards.
