Building Hope 5K: Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Building Hope 5K: Run/Walk takes place July 11, 2026, at LindenPointe in Hermitage, PA, with registration at 8:00 am and the 5K starting at 9:00 am. The course follows roadway and paved trail terrain. Race proceeds benefit the Building of Hope Ministry, which provides beds, bedding, pillows, and daily necessities to individuals and families in need throughout Mercer County. Medals are awarded to the top 3 finishers in each of 8 age groups (14 and under through 70+), with gift cards and medals for 1st place overall male and female finishers. A kids fun run for ages 12 and under is also offered, with participants receiving goodie bags and ribbons. Registration costs $20 in advance or $25 on race day; the kids fun run is $5.
