Candy Cane Course- Lee's Summit 2026

The race.

The Candy Cane Course takes place on December 19, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri, offering eight race options: a 1-mile untimed run, 3.1-mile 5K, 6.2-mile 10K, 9.3-mile 15K, 50-meter kids' dash for ages 10 and under, and a virtual race option. All registered participants receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal; the kids' dash includes a youth-sized shirt and specially designed medal. The event features chip timing with live results, awards, free photos, and refreshments at the finish line. Youth pricing of $22 applies to participants 12 and under for the 5K and 10K distances. Registration deadline is midnight on Thursday, two weeks before race day, to guarantee shirt size.
