About the race
The race.
The Candy Cane Course takes place December 13, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska, and offers five distance options: a 50-meter dash, 1-mile run, 5K, 10K, and 15K. All registered participants receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The race features chip timing with live results, awards, free photos, and treats at the finish line. A virtual race option is available for those unable to attend in person. Youth ages 12 and under competing in the 5K or 10K pay reduced registration fees. Registration must be completed by midnight two Thursdays before race day to guarantee a shirt size. A $10 parking fee applies to enter the park unless you hold an RSU Annual Pass.
