About the race
The race.
The Candy Cane Course in Omaha on December 19, 2026, offers five competitive distances: 1 mile (untimed), 5K, 10K, 15K, and a kids' dash for ages 10 and under. All registered participants receive a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 1-mile event and kids' dash are untimed; chip timing with live results applies to the 5K, 10K, and 15K. Finishers enjoy treats at the end, and free photos are available. A virtual race option allows participants to complete their distance anywhere and anytime while earning event swag. Youth pricing of $22 applies to the 5K and 10K for runners 12 and under. Registration closes at midnight two Thursdays before race day to guarantee a shirt.
