About the race
The race.
The Celebrate Life Survivors 5K Walk/Run takes place October 4, 2026, at University of Houston-Clear Lake in Houston, Texas. The event benefits the Texas Oncology Foundation and supports cancer patients through assistance and survivorship programs. Race day begins with check-in at 7:30 a.m., followed by a Survivor Celebration Lap at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K start at 8:30 a.m. A 1K option is also available. Packet pickup occurs September 19 from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at Texas Oncology–Webster. Registration costs $25 early bird (through August 29), $35 standard, and $15 for children 12 and under for the 5K. Event t-shirts and awards are provided to finishers.
