About the race
The race.
The Brain Injury Association of Ohio hosts this event on September 12, 2026, in Mount Vernon. Participants can choose from a timed 5K race, a 1-mile walk or roll, or a Kids Dash. Registered walkers and runners receive an event T-shirt and finisher's medal; registration by August 29 ensures correct shirt sizing. The event includes a Survivor Celebration Zone with lunch, raffles, and team recognition. Awards recognize the largest team, top fundraisers, best team photo, and participant registering from the farthest distance. A virtual participation option is available. All proceeds benefit the Brain Injury Association of Ohio's programs and services.
