City of Edinburg Triathlon 2026

The race.

The City of Edinburg Triathlon takes place on August 16, 2026, starting at 7:30 a.m. at Edinburg Parks & Recreation (315 Mark S Peña Dr.). Three divisions are offered: age 12 and under with a 100-meter swim, 4.5-mile bike, and 1-mile run; recreational age 13 and up with identical distances; and competitive with a 200-meter swim, 9-mile bike, and 2-mile run. All finishers receive a medal, and age division awards are given to competitive division participants. Finisher shirts are provided to the first 300 registrants. Registration closes at 500 participants. Packet pickup is available Thursday, August 13 (9 a.m.–7 p.m.), Friday, August 14 (8 a.m.–6 p.m.), and race morning (6 a.m.–7:15 a.m.). Helmets are mandatory; floatation and snorkeling devices are prohibited.
