The race.
The City of Trees Marathon takes place on October 11, 2026, in Boise, Idaho. The course uses the Boise Greenbelt system. All finishers receive an award, a long-sleeve t-shirt, and food and drink. Registrants who sign up by October 1, 2026, are guaranteed a t-shirt; those registering after that date are not guaranteed one. Participants may encounter wildlife during the race, and course conditions may be affected by construction, sinkholes, or flooding due to river activity in the Greenbelt area.
