The race.
The Cleveland Metroparks Lantern Festival 5K takes place on July 21, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio, running through the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The 5K is chip-timed and starts at 8:30 PM following packet pickup at 7:00 PM. Pre-registration costs $30 through July 18, with rates increasing to $35 from July 19 onward. Participants receive a custom race t-shirt, medal, and post-race refreshments, plus zoo admission from 7 PM to 10 PM. Early packet pickup is available July 20 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Hermes Sports & Events (2425 W 11th St, Cleveland).
