Colors 4 Cancer 5K/1M/Virtual 2026

The race.

The 2026 Craig Brake Memorial Colors 4 Cancer event offers a 5K run, 1-mile run/walk, and virtual 10K options on October 31–November 7 in New Bern, NC, benefiting the Journey of Hope Cancer Support Fund. Participants can compete in person on November 7 or virtually from October 31–November 7. Registration fees are $35 for the 5K, $25 for the 1-mile walk, and $40 for the virtual 10K; student rates (ages 6–17) are $25 for all events. The live event awards medals to the top 3 finishers in nine age groups (10 and under through 70 and above) for each distance. Packet pickup occurs November 5, 3–7 p.m., at CarolinaEast Foundation, 2007 Neuse Blvd B; virtual participants may pick up in person or request shipment for a $7 fee. T-shirts are included with registration through October 3; virtual participants registered by October 20 will receive t-shirts and color packets by mail.
