Conquer the Cave 5K 2026

The race.

Conquer the Cave 5K takes place on September 20, 2026, in Woodville, AL. The 5K course runs through a cave starting at the 1.9-mile mark, with an out-and-back 0.6-mile section underground where runners receive a glow stick at the turnaround point. Races are staggered in waves of up to 200 runners beginning at 11:30 a.m., with subsequent waves departing every 30 minutes through 1:30 p.m. Packet pickup occurs at RunningLane (2407 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL 35801) on Friday, September 18, from 2–7 p.m., Saturday, September 19, from 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and race morning from 7–10 a.m. Runners must participate in their assigned wave to receive a finishing time.
