Costume Crawl for PAILA Month 2026

The race.

The Costume Crawl for PAILA Month takes place October 31, 2026, at Van Scott Nature Reserve in Beach Lake, PA, benefiting Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. The 5K trail run/walk starts at 10 AM with day-of registration from 8:30–9:30 AM; a 1-mile option is also available. Children aged 5 and under participate free; adults pay $35 and ages 6–15 pay $15. Participants in costume compete for medals in categories including funniest, cutest, most creative, and best DIY costume. The first 50 registered participants receive t-shirts and medals (guaranteed sizing for those registered by September 15); treat bags are available first-come, first-served. Water stations and first aid are provided on the course, and additional activities include a nature scavenger hunt, mindfulness walk, story walk, crafts, and light refreshments.
