About the race
The race.
Da Deer Run Run takes place December 5, 2026, at Timber Pointe Nature Center in Hudson, Illinois. The event features four distances: an 8K, 4K, 5-mile, and 3-hour timed run plus 8K option, all starting at 11:00 AM on a two-loop course combining paved trail, double track, and single track sections. The 4K covers one loop of the 8K course. Pre-registrants for the 8K and 3-hour options receive sweatshirts (cutoff November 24, 2025). Post-race food and beverages are served at Stern Lodge near the finish. Proceeds benefit Timber Pointe Nature Center, and 8K participants receive Lake Run Club membership or renewal for the following year.
