The race.
The Davidson Doozie 5K & 10K takes place on September 12, 2026, in Lexington, NC, and benefits Family Services of Davidson County. Participants can choose from a 3.1-mile 5K or a 6.2-mile 10K run/walk option. A youth 10K run/walk is available for runners ages 13 and under. Additional shorter distances include a 1-mile run and a 0.25-mile option. A Sleep-In Supporter category is also offered for those unable to participate in the timed races.
