On October 18, 2026, the Day of the Dead Half Marathon takes place in Fort Worth, Texas at Marine Creek Lake, with a 8 a.m. start time. The event offers six race distances: a 20-yard Kids Dash for ages 10 and under, a 1-mile race, a 3.11-mile race, a 6.55-mile race, a 13.1-mile half marathon, and a 13.1-mile cycling option. Finishers receive medals and t-shirts, with a post-race rally tent offering refreshments and live music. A costume contest judged on creativity and authenticity awards the "Day of the Dead Best Costume Award" with a prize package before the race begins.
