The race.
The Deerfly Trail Race takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Carvers Creek State Park—Sandhills Access in Fayetteville, NC. Three distances are offered: 6.8 miles, 4.01 miles, and 3.7 miles, all timed. Finishers receive race shirts and medals. Cash awards are given for course records. Packet pickup occurs Friday, October 16, with beverages available from the race's sponsor. Onsite parking is available at the venue. Registration is limited to 200 participants.
