Diamond in the Rough Triathlon 2026

Diamond in the Rough Triathlon takes place July 11, 2026, at Perryville Community Park in Perryville, Maryland. The event features multiple distance options: 51.5K, 41.5K, 51.6K, 18.6K, and 13.6K. The swim begins with an in-water start from the dock in the Chesapeake Bay. Bike courses vary by distance, with the Sprint course consisting of rolling out-and-back terrain and the Olympic course covering technical terrain including suburban areas, rolling farmland, and a flat section along River Road. The run course is primarily flat and follows sidewalks and back roads along the Chesapeake Bay. Athletes must remain in the park until bike traffic clears; those departing early should park at the nearby fire department lot approximately 1.35 miles away.
