The race.

The Ditto Dash on September 19, 2026, in Huntsville, AL, is a dual-discipline event combining paddling and running. Participants paddle clockwise around Hobbs Island starting from East Harbor Boat Launch, then complete a 5K run beginning at East Harbor and finishing at Kingston Pavilion at Ditto Landing. The run route follows the Tennessee River Greenway westward, passes through the picnic area, crosses the causeway and Aldridge Creek Bridge, and turns around near the 231 Bridge. A water safety course is required before paddling. The event supports trails and river initiatives at Ditto Landing, the Sipsey River Trail, and the Tennessee National Recreational Loop. Registration is $25 through August 3 and $35 from August 4 through August 31.
