The race.
The Double Dipsea is a 13.7-mile out-and-back trail race on the Dipsea Trail connecting Stinson Beach and Mill Valley. This handicapped race uses staggered start waves, with all participants except males under 40 receiving head starts based on age and gender. The race takes place on August 22, 2026, and registration has closed at capacity. Finishers receive generous time cutoffs to complete the course. The event accommodates runners of all ages and abilities.
