The race.

The Dragons 5K presented by Orthopedic Associates takes place July 18, 2026, at 8 a.m. in Dayton, Ohio. The in-person race starts and finishes at Day Air Ballpark (220 Patterson Blvd.), with a virtual option available for participants to complete the 5K anywhere and submit results by July 31, 2026. Entry fees are $25 for adults and $20 for youth, with pricing increases at specific deadlines; virtual participants add $10 for shipping. All finishers receive a race bib, t-shirt, medal, and Dragons hat; in-person participants also receive four game tickets. Age group prizes are awarded to top three finishers in categories from under 10 through 80+. Packet pickup occurs July 16–17 at Day Air Ballpark, with day-of and post-event options available.
