Drug Demand Reduction 5K 2026

The race.

The Drug Demand Reduction 5K takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Fairview Park, Ohio, starting at 9:00 am from the Greater Cleveland Young Marines Drill Center. Participants can run the 5K or walk the 1-mile option on a chip-timed course. Race-day packet pickup runs from 8:00 to 8:50 am the morning of the event. Registration fees are $25 for adults and $20 for youth 14 and under, with a $5 surcharge for same-day registration; families of four or more save $10 when all members register together before race day. All finishers receive a custom medal, t-shirt (if registered by September 15), and post-race refreshments. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, plus top three finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under through 70 and over. A family-friendly Trunk or Treat event follows from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Proceeds support the Greater Cleveland Young Marines' drug demand reduction initiative.
