Empower Sports Thru to Zoo 5k and 1-mile 2026

The race.

Empower Sports Thru to Zoo features a 5K and 1-mile race through the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on September 19, 2026. Both events start at 8:30 a.m., with registration $35 per runner. Finishers receive a t-shirt and zoo admission; post-race food and beverages are provided at the Palava Hut. Awards go to the top 5 overall finishers by gender and top 3 in age groups ranging from 10 and under through 70 and older. Supporters may purchase separate zoo admission tickets online ($20.50 adults, $18.50 seniors 62+, $16.50 children 2–11) to attend.
