The race.

The epkicks *run for shoes* 5K takes place September 13, 2026, in El Paso, TX, starting at 8:00 a.m. from Up and Running at 3233 N. Mesa. Participants can choose from a 3.1-mile run/walk, 1-mile run/walk, or Ghost Run option for those unable to attend in person. Registration is $35 for individuals, $30 per team member (minimum 10 members), or $25 for Ghost Run entries. Packet pickup occurs September 12 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the venue. Finisher medals go to the first 500 to cross, with trophies awarded to overall male and female winners, top three finishers in age groups (10 & under through 70+), and the largest team. Short-sleeve technical race shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by August 29, and refreshments are provided at the finish line.
