The race.
EquiTrails is an obstacle course competition held September 12, 2026, in Honeoye Falls, NY, on a 200-acre ranch. The course spans several miles and features approximately 13 obstacles including ditches, tires, logs, bridges, and gates. Riders navigate at their own pace—not timed—with judges evaluating horsemanship and safety at each obstacle; ribbons are awarded through 6th place in Trail Boss (experienced), Green Horn (novice), and In Hand (unmounted) divisions. Any breed and saddle type are welcome for both English and Western riders. Participants must wear ASTM helmets and provide negative Coggins test results within two years. Sponsorship options are available, with proceeds benefiting EquiCenter's therapeutic equestrian programs.
