About the race
The race.
The Faith in Children 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 18, 2026, at Randall's Island Park in New York City, with a virtual option also available. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance, and children and dogs are welcome to participate. Race day includes bib number and T-shirt pickup, with medals available for adult, teen, and child finishers, plus a race bandana and medal for dogs. Refreshments, snacks, and goodie bags for dogs and kids are provided. All proceeds support Faith in Children's programs: Nourished Bellies (food assistance in the USA, Canada, Brazil, and Madagascar), Community Outreach (hygiene product distribution), and Mindfulness Education initiatives across the USA, Canada, Malawi, and Madagascar.
