About the race
The race.
The Frantic Frog Fall Sprint Triathlon and 5K takes place September 19, 2026, at Goose Pond Colony Resort in Scottsboro, Alabama. The 5K run follows the same out-and-back route through the campground as the triathlon's run portion and does not require USAT membership. Packet pickup is available Friday 5:00–7:00 p.m. and Saturday 6:30–7:30 a.m. at the grassy area outside Docks Restaurant. The 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. Central time. Finishers receive a race t-shirt. Age group awards are given for first, second, and third place in categories spanning ages 12 and over, with overall awards for top three male and female finishers.
