About the race
The race.
The Freakeee 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 24, 2026, in Ripley, WV, starting and finishing at City Park behind Ripley Elementary School. Sponsored by Waybright Funeral Home and organized by Main Street Ripley, this event is the third race in the 4 Season Race Series. Day-of registration begins at 4:30 p.m. The first 50 finishers receive complimentary 4-Seasons Race socks, and an awards ceremony follows at the finish line. Runners dressed in the best costume will receive a gift certificate, and participants are invited to stay for the Freakeee after-party.
