Friends of the Poor Walk 2026

SILENT AUCTION

The FOP Walk will once again include our exciting Silent Auction! Arrive early to bid on a wide variety of gift cards to local restaurants and business, gift baskets, offers of services, and more. Bids can be made before, during and for a short time after the Walk, and will close approximately 2pm. Winners need not be present to win, but bids can only be made onsite, so plan on being there.

REGISTRATION

To register as an Individual Walker ($25) or a Family ($40), please click the sign-up button above. Each registration comes with one t-shirt and we'll have additional t-shirts for sale ($10) at the Walk, while supplies last!

BECOME A FUNDRAISER!

Walkers are encouraged to collect pledges from supporters. Asking for pledges is a great way to spread awareness of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s mission to assist those in need! If you are interested, please follow the Become A Fundraiser prompts when you register. If you'd like to donate to support a specific walker, please click here .

TIME

The event will begin at 1:00 on September 20, with day-of registration, sign-in and our excellent Silent Auction. The Walk will begin at 1:30pm, ending shortly after 2:00pm.

We hope you join us in our Friends of the Poor Walk - it's only 1.5 miles but the awareness and funds we raise will go a long way to support individuals and families in need in Newton.
