About the race
The race.
The Goat Cliff Road Race is a one-mile paced road race held September 5, 2026, in Clayton, Georgia, starting on Acorn Creek Road. The course includes a 500-foot elevation gain on Sonya Road. Finishers receive a t-shirt, and medals are awarded in seven divisions: men's, women's, ages 8 and under, ages 9–10, ages 11–13, general participants, and ages 60 and older. All proceeds benefit the local volunteer fire department. Parking is limited and instructions will be provided closer to race day.
