The race.
The Graveyard Gallop 5K takes place on October 17, 2026, at the Grissettown Volunteer Fire Department (District 31) in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, with a 4:00 p.m. start time. The 5K road race features one water stop and welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities. Packet pickup occurs Saturday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. near the start line. Finishers receive medals by age group (eight categories from 0–14 through 70+) and overall awards in male and female divisions. Guaranteed t-shirts are available for early registrants through September 14. All race proceeds benefit the District 31 Volunteer Fire Department, and participants receive a $5.00 discount toward the evening Haunted Trail event.
