SOHO-HO AND AWAY WE GO! 2026

The race.

On December 12, 2026, SOHO-HO and Away We Go! offers a 3.1-mile race and 1-mile fun run starting at 10:00 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. respectively at Silver Coast Winery in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. The 5K course combines gravel and road terrain with one water stop, welcoming runners and walkers of all abilities across eight age groups from 0-14 through 70+. All finishers receive medals; registrants who sign up by November 13 are guaranteed t-shirts. Post-race festivities include wine, beer, snacks, photos, and a costume contest. Overall and age group awards go to top three finishers in each category. Packet pickup occurs Friday, December 11 from 5:00–6:30 p.m. or race morning from 8:00–9:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association in support of veterans and their families in Brunswick County.
