Great 5k and Paddlefest 2026

The race.

The Arc Caddo-Bossier's GREAT Program hosts a 5K run and paddlefest on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Fox Creek Farms in Shreveport, Louisiana. The 5K starts at 8:00 a.m., followed by a 2-mile paddlefest at 9:15 a.m. Entry fees range from $35 to $60 depending on event selection and registration deadline, with early registration closing September 19. Packet pickup occurs at Sportspectrum on October 1–2 or race morning from 7:00–7:45 a.m. at Fox Creek Farms. Awards are given to overall winners and age group finishers in the 5K (ages 18 and under through 60+) and paddlefest categories (by watercraft type and mixed-pair kayak/canoe). All entry fees include admission to The GREAT Post Race Party, featuring food, live music, drawings, and activities for children.
