The race.
Go the Distance hosts its second annual 5K Fun Run/Walk on September 13, 2026, at Fernhill Park in Portland, OR. The event supports the nonprofit's mission to empower recovery through fitness and community, with proceeds benefiting early recovery programs. Race day activities begin at 9:00 am with opening festivities, followed by a kids' fun run at 9:30 am and the 5K at 10:00 am. Registration includes a race shirt, customized bib, timing, and a 2026 medal. A free kids' dash and virtual 5K options are available. Packet pickup and check-in occur race morning starting at 9:00 am at Fernhill Park.
