Guts Gravel Glory (GGG ) 2026

The race.

Guts Gravel Glory takes place Sunday, August 2, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. at Bright Hope Equestrian Park within Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield, Virginia. Packet pickup runs from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. the same morning. The event features three distances: a 50-mile race (8 laps, approximately 44 miles), a 36-mile race (6 laps), and a 19-mile race (3 laps), all on a clockwise dirt road and path loop of approximately 5.5 miles. The course consists of dirt roads and paths 8 to 12 feet wide suitable for gravel, cross, or mountain bikes. A water station is positioned near the completion of each lap for bottle refills and hand-ups from personal support. Chipped timing is used, with race numbers placed on handlebars facing forward. A 3-hour time cutoff applies to begin your final lap in the 50-mile and 36-mile divisions. Standard state park parking fees apply unless you hold a park permit.
