The race.

The Halloween Trick or Trot Run takes place October 31, 2026, in Houston, TX, offering 5K, 10K, 13.1-mile, and 1-mile distances. Participants can choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 AM, with in-person or virtual options available. All finishers receive a technical running shirt (shipped to their US address), finisher's medal, towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online certificate of completion. Timing is optional and can be tracked via personal apps or with coordinator support. Race bibs are distributed on race day, and packet pickup is not required. Registrations are accepted through two weeks before the race, though late shirts may arrive after the event. Coordinators remain on-site for three hours after the first wave.
