The race.

The Veterans Day Freedom Run 5K/10K/13.1 takes place November 14, 2026, in Houston, TX, with a 1-mile option also available. Participants can choose from three start waves at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM, with late arrivals accommodated within three hours of the first wave. All ages and paces welcome; participants may run or walk with optional timing via personal tracking apps or coordinator assistance. Registration includes a finisher's medal, running shirt (shipped to your address), finisher's towel or giveaway, digital training pack, and online results certificate. Optional fundraising supports a charity of your choice, with 100% of net funds directed to your selected cause. A virtual run option is available for those unable to participate in person.
