The Healthy Kids Running Series Fall 2026 in Buffalo Grove, IL takes place on September 13, 2026, as part of a five-week program for children Pre-K through 8th grade. Participants in the 4th & 5th Grade and 6th to 8th Grade divisions compete in 1-mile runs. Series registration covers five weeks of races, race bibs, a runner shirt, a finisher medal awarded in week five, and sponsor giveaways. Single-day registration is also available on race day and covers one race only. An adaptive Challenger Division offering a 75-yard race is available for children with disabilities and special needs. Overall top finishers in each division receive trophies, with boys and girls categories. A makeup date is scheduled for October 25, 2026.
