The Healthy Kids Running Series Spring 2026 event in Harker Heights, TX on May 2, 2026 features age-grouped races for children Pre-K through 8th grade, including 50 and 75 yard dashes, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and 1 mile distances. A Challenger Division offering a 75 yard adaptive race is available for children with disabilities and special needs, permitting parent or sibling support and assistive devices on the course. Registration covers all five weeks of the series and includes race bibs each week, a runner shirt, finisher medal, and sponsor giveaways. Single day walk-up registration opens one hour before each race and covers one race only. All participants receive a medal in week five, with trophies awarded to overall top finishers by division and gender.
