Heroes and Villains Half Marathon- Fort Worth 2026

The race.

The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon takes place September 20, 2026, at Marine Creek Lake in Fort Worth, Texas. Five race distances are offered: a Kids Dash (20 yards), 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K (3.11 miles), Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles), and Half Marathon (13.1 miles). All finishers receive a medal and shirt. The 5K and Quarter Marathon are chip-timed, as is the Half Marathon; the 1 Mile is untimed. Packet pickup runs from 5:30 to 6:40 AM, with races beginning at 7:00 AM. A costume contest starts at 6:50 AM with prizes including a $25 gift card, free future race entry, and a Bigfoot Prize Pack. Post-race festivities include a DJ, awards ceremony, and refreshments at the Race Rally Tent.
