Heroes and Villains Half Marathon - Houston 2026

The race.

The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon takes place September 13, 2026, at Brazos River Park in Sugarland, Texas. Five distances are offered: a Kids Dash (20 yards for ages 10 and under), a 1-mile fun run, a 5K (3.11 miles), a quarter marathon (6.55 miles), and a half marathon (13.1 miles). All finishers receive a medal and race shirt. The event features chip timing for the 5K, quarter marathon, and half marathon, with age group awards and Bigfoot Trophies for top finishers. Packet pickup runs from 5:30 to 6:40 a.m., with races beginning at 7:00 a.m. A costume contest at 6:50 a.m. offers prizes including a $25 gift card, free future race entry, and a Bigfoot Prize Pack. Post-race festivities include a DJ, awards ceremony, and refreshments at the Race Rally Tent.
