Homerun for the Homeless 2026

The race.

The 13th Annual Homerun for the Homeless takes place Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Southwest University Park in El Paso, TX. The 5K run/fun walk covers 3.1 miles through downtown El Paso, starting at 8:00 AM, with a separate kids' dash at 9:00 AM inside the ballpark. Proceeds benefit the Opportunity Center for the Homeless. The first 800 finishers receive medals, and the top three male and female finishers in each age group (12 & under through 70 & over) earn signature medals. Entry fees are $40 for the 5K competitive run (advance registration only) and fun walk, and $20 for the kids' dash. The first 500 registered participants receive a free t-shirt and an El Paso Chihuahuas baseball game ticket valid for August 15. Packet pickup is Friday, August 14, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Up and Running, or race day from 6:30 to 7:00 AM at Southwest University Park. Water and snacks are provided at the finish line.
