Howl at the Moon 5K 2026

The race.

The Howl at the Moon 5K takes place August 21, 2026, in La Vergne, Tennessee, with an 8:00 p.m. start at Veterans Memorial Park. Registration opens early at $30 through August 7, increases to $35 from August 8–20, and costs $40 on race day. The USATF-sanctioned course departs Veterans Memorial Park, proceeds left on Floyd Mayfield Drive and right on Murfreesboro Road, turns around at City Hall Complex, and returns to the park. The race features eight age divisions with awards given to the top three finishers in each division plus first-place male and female overall winners. Check-in is at Pavilion B.
