Huntsville Runfest 2026

The race.

Huntsville Runfest takes place Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Gurley, Alabama, featuring three trail running distances: a 5K, 25K, and 50K. The 5K Sublett Point Challenge starts at 8:00 AM on a paved out-and-back route with approximately 1,000 feet of climbing; the 25K and 50K trail races start together at 7:00 AM from McMullen Cove Clubhouse, with the 50K completing the 25K loop twice and featuring roughly 2,500 and 5,000 feet of climbing respectively. Packet pickup is available Friday from 12:00–5:00 PM at Fleet Feet Huntsville or Saturday from 6:00–7:00 AM at McMullen Cove. Aid stations are positioned no more than four miles apart on the trail courses. Race proceeds benefit childhood cancer research.
