The race.
The Jones Gap Trail Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile trail race held on September 12, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM at River Falls Lodge in Marietta, SC. The course features approximately 2,000 feet of elevation gain and includes single-track trails through Jones Gap State Park with views of Rainbow Falls and Little Pinnacle Mountain. Packet pickup takes place at River Falls Lodge starting at 7:00 AM. Two aid stations are located at mile 2 and mile 11, offering water, soft drinks, and food items; runners must bring their own cups. Parking is available at River Falls Lodge Road, Marietta, SC 29661.
