Prisoner of War Trail Race (50k - 25k - 8mi) 2026

The Prisoner of War Trail Race takes place October 24, 2026, at Croft State Park in Spartanburg, SC, offering three distances: 50K (two figure-eight loops), 25K (one full loop), and 8 miles (northern section). All races start at 9:00 AM with packet pickup beginning at 8:00 AM at the Activity Center. The terrain features roots, rocks, and elevation changes across the backcountry course. A central aid station at the start/finish provides water, Coke, ginger ale, pickles, cookies, chips, fig newtons, pretzels, and candy. Participants must bring their own hydration vessels. Finishers receive medals. Drop bags and personal tents may be staged at base camp. Organized by Upstate Race Series.
