About the race

The race.

The July 4th Run takes place July 4, 2026, in San Antonio, TX, offering 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and 1-mile distances. Participants choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 AM, with coordinators available for three hours after the first wave. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to run or walk. Finishers receive a technical running shirt (shipped to their registered US address), finisher's medal, towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online certificate of completion. Timing is optional; participants may track their own time using an app or request coordinator assistance. Race bibs are provided on race day. A virtual run option is also available. Optional post-race fundraising supports partner charities at $1 per mile logged.
